I am starting a new applique embroidered quilt. All blocks will be made on the embroidery machine. The name of the quilt is Homestead. Here is the first block.

These are my Topsey Tervey Little Red Riding Hood, Wolf and Grandma dolls. I am making one for my grandson. I love fairy tails and he is only 5 mths old so he should have fun looking at these until he can actually play with them. The faces of Red and Grandmas were made on my embroidery machine. Wolf was hand stitched because of the 3-D of the face I could not get it in the embroidery hoop. Today I work on hair. Will post more as I get them done.

I am working on applique embroidery grapes for my Amish girlfriend. I need 44, she is cutting out the quilt and quilting it, double wedding ring. The jump stitches are not trimmed. I made 13 blocks at camp a week ago, and last Sat. Annas daughter Barb came down and I taught her to run the embroidery machine, she made 4 blocks. The quilt is for her brother. She loved it. Of course, they do not have machines like this. I just finished up 8 more and am just over half way. I am also working on my version of the Amish grape embroidery quilt in mini style. I have 3 sections sewn and the blues and purples match Annas colors for her rings.  I think I will hand quilt my mini to match Annas grape quilt. The big quilt will not be done until this fall.
